Part of ‘The Summit Line’ collection, ‘Awakening’ combines evocative colours with a simple mountain design. I’d planned to spend some time sketching the mountains while on a ski holiday with my family (who are all much better at skiing than I am!) but in the rush of packing, my sketchbook was left at home. Instead, over a much needed hot chocolate break, I began doodling mountains on my phone, experimenting with finger-drawn lines. That little spark of creativity stayed with me when we returned home, inspiring me to explore line, texture and mark-making - and ultimately leading to ‘Awakening’. 
This statement piece will add warmth and a sense of calm to your room - a perfect addition to the home of a mountain lover. Created with acrylic paint and spray paints, the mountain shapes have been scratched into the spring inspired background with a palette knife.
