Ice on the slopes and anticipation in the air. 
 
When autumn arrives, my mind always meanders towards the mountains. This painting is one of a collection of mountain-inspired works, created using palette knives to apply the paint to thick art paper. It was a lovely way to embrace my daydreams until I could hit the slopes again!
