Solstice skies

We were in Lapland just a few days before the Winter Solstice; the shortest day of the year took on a new meaning that far north. The hours of daylight may have been brief but the light was phenomenal, dancing across the clouds in a kaleidoscope of colours.

Staying on the edge of lake Toras-Sieppi, near the Pallas-Yllas National Park, the Arctic landscape was majestic and the tranquility magical. Stunning light, breathtaking scenery and sparkling snow in every direction. Perfect painting inspiration; I couldn’t wait to get started!

Frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx 45%.
All frames are equipped with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel.
Supplied with fixtures on the back, ready to hang.

All prints are made to order and typically delivered within 7-10 working days.
Each order is securely packaged using sturdy envelopes, tubes or boxes to protect the artwork.
