This stunning location will forever hold a special place in my heart - a truly magical part of the world.
 
In mid-December, I was beyond delighted to visit Lapland in northern Finland. It had always been a dream of mine to go. 
 
Staying on the edge of lake Toras-Sieppi, near the Pallas-Yllas National Park, the landscape was majestic and the tranquility magical. Stunning light, breathtaking scenery and sparkling snow in every direction. Perfect painting inspiration; I couldn’t wait to get started!
