The calming mountain painting is full of beautiful shades of blue and lilac. Created in April, when my mind was fresh full of snowy alpine scenes, I was painting this in my garden studio looking at a stunning display of wisteria that runs along my garden fence. It was only afterwards that I realised how much the colours of the wisteria had influenced this colour palette.
